Baby Alexander

Congratulations are definitely in order for the parents of this little guy. He is so precious. All I really wanted to do was hold him and stare at his perfection.

Freeze-mont Street

There will never come a day when I don't think back on this shoot and think, "BRRR!" It was so cold, so windy, NO sun, and they all were such troopers. Even the littlest of the bunch! Fortunately, I dragged my hubby along for this shoot since I was downtown which proved to be a great idea and an even bigger help. He got the little ones attention for me as my chin shook and teeth chattered...trying to stay still long enough to avoid blurry photos! About 20 minutes later, we were all headed back indoors to thaw out. All in all, a picture perfect family, and I can't wait to work with them again...hopefully on a warmer day! =)

The Lanting Family

Mom and Dad were amazing, and the kids were adorable. When mom told me she wanted to shoot at Town Square, I was a bit nervous because I'd never been there! So when I arrived, I thought to myself, "There's no way I'll be able to get shots without other people in them..This place is packed!" Well, I was wrong and it worked out great!

Gaither Family

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

This family was so much fun to shoot. I've officially topped the record for the most pictures taken during a single session. I just couldn't get enough of them! I had such a great time, thank you guys!

The B Family

It's true, I know... I've been a horrible blogger. Whoops! This family session was shot way back in August. (I told you I've been neglecting parts of my work.)
I can not say enough about these guys, I had such a great time shooting them. It was so hot out and still their smiles and happiness continued. Big sister really adores her little sister and wanted so badly to love her and snuggle for the pictures, but baby had bigger plans...there was grass to eat! It was really fun watching (and capturing) them as we moved around the park. Mom and I have become friends since then and I'm blessed to have met such an amazing family.

Baby J turns 1!!

I was extremely honored (and excited, shh!) to have been asked to capture this little guys 1st birthday. It was so much fun! He celebrated with so many friends and family in attendance and put on a great show!

Mom had Elmo and Cookie Monster up her sleeve. Poor little guy was terrified at first!!  This is the memory that makes me smile when I think of his party.

Family Road Trip

These photos are old, and by old, I just mean outdated. They were taken on our family road trip almost a year ago with Christmas card intentions... Taken with my point and shoot camera, well before I'd been blessed with my wonderful camera (and Oh, how I'd wished many days for it) that I use today. At the time I had no intention of pursuing a photography career, but these may have helped push me in that direction. They're not the best work, may not have been good enough to be showcased by any photographer...but even so, they're some of my favorite photos because they're of my family and a reminder of where I started. Enjoy =)

Brother & Sister H

With the temperatures climbing, we arranged this shoot early morning and it was still incredibly warm. Big sister was all for posing for the camera; and what a natural! Little brother didn't know what to make of the grass, so it was super cute watching him figure out it was okay to crawl through it!

Cuteness x2

First of all, I just have to tell you guys that the bond that this brother and sister share with each other was so strong, it made me step back a moment to pause mid-shoot to say "wow."

Little Miss Cuteness would only smile for her big brother... which getting a four year old to take time out from running around a park to do the boring stuff was no easy feat, but one a promise of some ice cream afterward couldn't handle!!
